(Baonghean.vn)- The memorial service for Colonel pilot Tran Quang Khai is being held at the Military Region 4 Funeral Home according to the protocol of the Vietnam People's Army.Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, senior leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, along with many officials and people, were present early to see the pilot off to his homeland.
9:30 am:The funeral ended, Colonel Pilot Tran Quang Khai's body was taken back to his hometown Bac Giang. In the hot weather of Vinh city, thousands of people stood on both sides of the road, waving goodbye to the steadfast pilot returning to his homeland.
