Hundreds of athletes participate in wrestling and table tennis tournaments
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 27, the Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with Yen Thanh district to open the wrestling and table tennis competitions. These are 2 of the total 18 competitions within the framework of the 8th Nghe An Provincial Sports Festival in 2018.
The wrestling and table tennis tournament had over 100 athletes from 13 units including: Tuong Duong, Nghi Loc, Vinh City, Nam Dan, Anh Son, Con Cuong, Do Luong, Dien Chau, Quy Hop, Nghia Dan, Quynh Luu, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the host unit Yen Thanh.

The wrestling and table tennis competitions are part of the 8th Provincial Sports Festival in 2018. The tournament not only aims to improve physical strength, enhance health, and promote martial spirit, but is also an opportunity for athletes to exchange, learn, strengthen solidarity, and contribute to arousing passion for sports. In addition, the tournament also aims to expand the mass sports movement.
The tournament takes place from March 27 to 31.
