Tieu Vy's journey from a skinny girl to Miss Vietnam

Miss Vietnam 2018 was born in 2000, from Quang Nam in a family of 2 sisters and she is the eldest daughter. The most prominent features on Tieu Vy's face are her big round eyes and thick eyebrows. Since childhood, Tieu Vy has been tall and thin.

When she was young, Tieu Vy's beauty was not really outstanding compared to her peers. She often tied her hair in a ponytail, revealing her high forehead.

Entering her teenage years, Tieu Vy likes to wear simple T-shirts with funny patterns. The girl born in 2000 is still very playful, innocent and completely bare-faced in the photos shared on her personal page. Tieu Vy at that time did not know how to dress up much but was quite beautiful with big round double eyelids and a high nose bridge.

At the age of 15, Tieu Vy entered the "growth" stage and grew rapidly in height. The young girl at that time liked to wear activewear such as shorts, t-shirts and sneakers. On her personal page, Tieu Vy was sometimes teased by her friends because of her small bust and skinny body.

After finishing 10th grade in Quang Nam, Tieu Vy asked her parents to let her move to Ho Chi Minh City to live and study. This was also the time when she changed the most in terms of fashion style and facial features.

Tieu Vy's appearance in 2017, when she was in 11th grade at Van Hanh High School (HCMC). On social networks, many people commented that she looked prettier without makeup than with heavy makeup.

At the age of 18, Tieu Vy's beauty has reached its peak. She possesses a modern beauty and is 1.74m tall.

In a schoolgirl uniform and almost bare-faced when attending the graduation ceremony at her high school (left photo) in May 2018, Tieu Vy was still very radiant, outstanding and not much different from the time she attended the preliminary round of the Miss Vietnam 2018 contest in the Northern region in July 2018.

Tieu Vy was crowned Miss in the finale held on the evening of September 16 after performing and shining through three competitions: Ao Dai, Bikini and Evening Gown. With her modern beauty, the new Miss received many positive responses from the public.
