Local People's Councils summarize activities for the 2011-2016 term

(Baonghean.vn) - On March 15, the People's Councils of Nghia Dan and Hung Nguyen districts held a summary meeting of activities for the 2011-2016 term.

* Nghia Dan District People's Council, 18th term, 2011-2016held the 12th session - an extraordinary session to discuss the report and draft resolution on population policy of Nghia Dan district for the 2011 - 2016 term.

Nghia Dan District People's Council voted to unify the content of population policy based on the documents of the province, specifically: Resolution 170/2015/NQ - HDND of the Provincial People's Council at the 14th session and Decision 43/2015/QD-UBND of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.

In addition, the bonus for hamlets that do not have a third child is: 1 million for 3 consecutive years; 2 million for 5 consecutive years and 4 million for 10 consecutive years.

Summarizing the activities of the 2011 - 2016 term, the 18th Nghia Dan District People's Council successfully organized 12 sessions, issued 82 resolutions, including 40 legal resolutions on important local tasks in each year, in each period and 42 individual resolutions.

The Resolutions have been promptly and effectively implemented and directed by the District People's Committee, contributing to the completion of socio-economic, national defense and security goals and targets in the area. On this occasion, the Conference commended 5 collectives and 23 individuals with outstanding achievements in the activities of the 18th People's Council.

Hung Nguyen People's Council summarizes activities for the 2011 - 2016 term.

During the term, the District People's Council coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to organize 368 meetings with voters, each meeting had 15-20 opinions, the rate of voters' recommendations being resolved reached over 80%.

The Standing Committee of the People's Council coordinated with the People's Committee and relevant agencies to organize 340 meetings with citizens to resolve complaints and denunciations and reflect their aspirations; received 156 complaints and denunciations.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of Hung Nguyen District People's Council commended 9 collectives and 10 individuals for their outstanding performance in council activities.
