Nghe An Provincial People's Council approved the 1/2,000 scale planning project of Area B - Tho Loc Industrial Park

Zone B - Tho Loc Industrial Park planned in Dien Chau district is identified as a multi-industry, clean industrial park with high technology and high added value.

On the afternoon of August 29, in Vinh city, the People's Council of Nghe An province, term XVIII, term 2021 - 2026, held the 22nd session (Special session).

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council approved the draft Resolution approving the 1/2,000 scale Construction Zoning Plan for Area B - Tho Loc Industrial Park, in Dien Phu and Dien Loc communes, Dien Chau district, in the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone.

The establishment of a 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan for Area B - Tho Loc Industrial Park to specify the Project to adjust the overall construction planning of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone to 2040 has been approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 93/QD-TTg dated February 15, 2023.

Forming an industrial production area with synchronous, effective and sustainable infrastructure; promoting the advantages of the area, serving to attract domestic and foreign investment. Contributing to accelerating the speed of socio-economic development, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to develop production and business, creating jobs for local workers, increasing revenue for the budget.

The planning research scale includes 215.5 hectares, of which the planning area of ​​Zone B - Tho Loc Industrial Park is 179.43 hectares; the land area outside the industrial park is 35.72 hectares.

According to the Proposal of the Provincial People's Committee, Zone B - Tho Loc Industrial Park is identified as a multi-industry, clean industrial park with high technology and high added value. Manufacturing electrical equipment, electronic products, computers, optical products. Manufacturing motorcycles, motorbikes, cars and other motor vehicles.

Production of drugs, pharmaceutical chemicals and medicinal materials; Food processing industry; Beverage production; Light industries; Supporting industries; Garment production; Production of metal products.

Construction materials production; Manufacturing industry; Textile industry; Leather products production; Chemicals and chemical products production; Rubber products production; Wood processing and wood products production; Paper products production, printing, copying of all kinds of records.

Leasing of warehouses and ready-built factories; Warehousing, Logistics and support activities for transportation; Other manufacturing and business sectors in accordance with current regulations.

Attracting secondary projects into Zone B - Tho Loc Industrial Park must have industries that are consistent with the Socio-Economic Development Plan and the Industrial Development Plan of the province, ensuring market access conditions for foreign investors; the technology chain is not on the list of technologies restricted from transfer and technologies prohibited from transfer to Vietnam.

In addition, ensure the response of environmental protection infrastructure, ensure environmental distance, consistent with the environmental impact assessment report of the industrial park; be assessed and appraised by competent authorities in accordance with regulations.
