This summer, orange wine will 'reign'
(Baonghean.vn) - Until now, wine drinkers have only had the choice between white wine, red wine, or at most rosé wine. But this summer, a new type of wine will appear on the market: orange wine using ancient Roman technology.
Orange wine is expected to become a huge hit in bars and food courts, after hitting supermarkets and luxury restaurants in the UK this summer.

Orange wine is made by soaking the grape skins in the juice for several days or weeks, rather than removing the skins like white wines.
Orange wine is said to have a richer, more intense flavor than white wine when fermented in earthenware jars.
This technology dates back to 8,000 BC and remained the primary method of wine production until the mid-20th century, before being replaced by modern processing technology.
There are a number of reasons for the popularity of orange wines, says Amelia Singer, a wine expert in the UK. People tend to eat a variety of foods at the same time, so they need a wine that goes well with many dishes. Also, people are becoming more adventurous, especially young people, and are always willing to try new things.
However, orange wine is not a product that can be mass produced at a low cost. Therefore, uniqueness is also a factor that creates the appeal of orange wine.
In the UK, Chapel Down was the first winery to produce an orange wine, made from the Bacchus grape variety from Kent.
