Banh chung served with peanut candy has become a “favorite” dish of many people. Every day, Quy Quyen facility makes two batches of candy. The price ranges from 20,000 to 30,000 to 50,000 VND for a bag of 10 pieces depending on the size. |

Mr. Luu Duc Bang, Head of Vinh Hoa Craft Village said: “Currently, there are 300 households in the hamlet, but almost every household makes banh chung with an income of nearly 30 million VND/person/year. During Tet, each household earns an average profit of 20-30 million VND. There are many festivals after Tet, so the craft village still operates effectively.” |
