Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, voted in New York amid cheers from supporters.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her husband, Bill Clinton, arrive at a local polling place in Chappaqua, New York, on the morning of November 8. Voters cheered as the couple arrived.
Clinton, wearing a beige shirt, waved to the crowd. She shook hands with voters. Crowds stood around her, holding up cell phones to take pictures as she cast her ballot.
When asked by a reporter how she felt about voting for herself, Clinton replied: "I feel humbled because I know how much responsibility it comes with. There are so many people watching the outcome of this election, what it means for our country, and I will do the best I can if I am fortunate enough to win today."
"It's a feeling of humility... because I know the responsibility that comes with this," Clinton told the Guardian. "A lot of people are looking at the outcome of the election. I'm going to do my best if I win."
