Live video of the first joint parade practice at Ba Dinh Square from 11:30. The Army and Police will practice the parade and march at Ba Dinh Square on the evening of August 21.

First joint training of the Army and Police

According to the plan, from 8pm on August 21, the Army and Police will practice and march at Ba Dinh Square. Before that, artillery and vehicles were brought into the city on the evenings of August 18 and 19 to prepare.

After this practice session, there will be another practice session (August 24), two preliminary rehearsals (August 27) and a final rehearsal (August 30), before the official parade on the morning of September 2.

Road closure for parade practice from 11:30 am

According to Hanoi City Police, the time of road closures, temporary closures and vehicle restrictions on August 21: Starting from 11:30 a.m. on August 21 to 3:00 a.m. on August 22.

Routes are strictly prohibited for all vehicles (except vehicles with security badges and vehicles serving the Ceremony):

Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue (from Hung Vuong to Van Cao), Mai Xuan Thuong, Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hung Vuong, Thanh Nien, Hoang Van Thu, Doc Lap, Dien Bien Phu, Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Chua Mot Cot, Le Hong Phong, Ong Ich Khiem, Ngoc Ha, Bac Son, Ton That Dam, Nguyen Canh Chan, Hoang Dieu, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Chu Van An, Ton Duc Thang, Cat Linh, Trinh Hoai Duc, Hang Chao, Tran Phu, Son Tay, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, Van Cao, Nghi Tam, Yen Phu, Cua Bac, Doi Can, Doc La-Pho, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Duan, Tran Nhan Tong (from Le Duan to Quang Trung), Trang Thi, Hang Khay, Trang Tien, Co Tan, Phan Chu Trinh (from Hai Ba Trung to Trang Tien); Le Thanh Tong, Tong Dan (from Ly Dao Thanh to Trang Tien), Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du, Quang Trung (from Ly Thuong Kiet to Trang Thi), Ly Thai To, Nguyen Huu Huan, Ngo Quyen (from State Bank Square to Trang Tien), Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Lang (from Lang Ha to Tran Duy Hung).

Routes temporarily closed to traffic:

- Roads inside Ring Road I: temporarily banned for all types of vehicles (except vehicles with security badges, vehicles serving the Anniversary Ceremony, priority vehicles, vehicles performing official duties, buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles handling and troubleshooting).

- Routes in the area from Ring Road I to Ring Road II: temporarily banned for trucks with a total designed weight of 1.5 tons or more, passenger cars with 16 seats or more (except vehicles with security badges, vehicles serving the Anniversary Ceremony, vehicles with priority rights, vehicles performing official duties, buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles handling and troubleshooting).

The route of the parade blocks

After passing through the podium at Ba Dinh Square, the parade groups will split into 7 directions, going through the central streets of Hanoi.

Road to the ceremony platform:

Military units gathered at Phan Dinh Phung and Hoang Hoa Tham streets (pedestrian block); Bach Thao park (standing block).

Police units gathered at Phan Dinh Phung street.

The masses gathered at Quan Thanh Street.

The vehicles gathered at the intersection of Hung Vuong Street - Phan Dinh Phung Street on Thanh Nien Street, Nghi Tam.

People gathered at Bac Son Street, intersection of Ton That Dam Street - Doc Lap Street.

Route after passing the altar:

After passing the ceremony platform, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, turn left and follow Nguyen Thai Hoc - Trang Thi - Trang Tien Street to August Revolution Square.

The walking blocks of the Army, Foreign Army, Militia and Police follow 4 routes:

- Direction 1: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong street, turn right onto Le Hong Phong - Ngoc Ha street to Bach Thao park.

- Direction 2: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, turn left onto Nguyen Thai Hoc - Trang Thi - Trang Tien Street to August Revolution Square.

- Direction 3: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong street, turn right onto Nguyen Thai Hoc - Kim Ma Lieu Giai - Van Cao street to Quan Ngua stadium.

- Direction 4: After passing the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong street, turn left onto Nguyen Thai Hoc - Le Duan street to Thong Nhat park.

Mobile Police and Cavalry: After passing the stage, turn right and follow Le Hong Phong - Ngoc Ha street to the assembly point at Bach Thao park.

Red Flag Block: After passing the stage, turn right onto Le Hong Phong Street (change the formation into 8 vertical rows), follow Doi Can - Giang Van Minh - Kim Ma - Lieu Giai Street, to Quan Ngua Stadium.

Mass groups, Culture - Sports groups: After passing the stage, go straight along Hang Chao alley to the assembly location at Hang Day stadium (model cars symbolizing the groups turn right and follow Nguyen Thai Hoc street to the assembly location at Trinh Hoai Duc street).

Tank and tracked route: After passing the ceremony platform, go to the Ministry of National Defense Headquarters.

Tired vehicle route:

- Direction 1: After passing the ceremony stage, follow the route of Cua Bac - Nghi Tam - Au Co - Vo Chi Cong - Duong Lang - Tran Duy Hung - Thang Long Boulevard - Le Quang Dao - F1 Racetrack.

- Direction 2: After passing the stage, follow the route Nguyen Thai Hoc - Giang Vo - Lang - Tran Duy Hung - Thang Long Boulevard - Le Quang Dao - F1 Racetrack.
