Coach Hoang Anh Tuan considers changing personnel for U-20 Vietnam
On the afternoon of May 16, the Vietnam U-20 team continued to practice at the Mokpo International Football Center (Korea) to prepare for the opening match of the 2017 U-20 World Cup against U-20 New Zealand on May 22.

Coach Hoang Anh Tuan is making the most of the remaining time to complete the final preparations before moving to Cheonan city to participate in the tournament on May 18. While in the morning training session on May 16, the players were supplemented with strength and speed, in the afternoon training session, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan focused on strengthening technical tactics with ball control exercises, small movements and coordination with few touches in a narrow area. Coach Hoang Anh Tuan was very strict when he was ready to blow the whistle to temporarily stop the training session to correct his students' mistakes.
According to the plan, today (May 17), Coach Hoang Anh Tuan will make a decision on whether to change the personnel in the list of 21 official players participating in the finals that have been registered with FIFA or not. Because at the last minute, FIFA still allows players to be added if there is an unexpected injury. Currently, the U-20 team has 2 reserve players, midfielder Phan Thanh Hau and Truong Tien Anh. Of which, Thanh Hau, although not fully recovered from his injury, was able to participate in training with his teammates and absorbed the entire amount of exercise in the supplementary strength and speed exercises on the morning of May 16.
Coach Hoang Anh Tuan's consideration is understandable when the U-20 Vietnam midfield has not yet created peace of mind in the last friendly match, a 1-1 draw with U-20 Vanuatu on May 14.
