Leaving Vietnam, Coach Kiatisak receives a "special mission"

On May 14, the Thai coach suddenly wrote a farewell letter to the police team after just over 4 months in the "hot seat".

The letter said that Coach Kiatisak will return to his home country of Thailand instead of staying in Vietnam to continue looking for a new job.

A prestigious Thai sports news site revealed that it is very likely that coach Kiatisak will return home to lead the U23 or Thai national team.

In fact, the position of captain of Thailand U23 is still vacant when coach Issara Sritaro was fired after the failure at the recent 2024 U23 Asian tournament.

If he takes on this position, the former coach of Hoang Anh Gia Lai will aim for the highest position at the 33rd SEA Games at home.

It is also possible that Coach Kiatisak will return as captain of the Thai national team, or lead a club in the Thai League.
