(Baonghean.vn) - As part of the preparation plan for the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in Asia, based on the proposal of head coach Park Hang-seo, the Vietnam Football Federation has submitted to the General Department of Sports and Physical Training a decision to gather the national team for the first phase of 2020.
Accordingly, the national team will gather in Hanoi with a force of 36 players, including the presence of experienced veterans such as defenders Que Ngoc Hai, Vu Van Thanh, Bui Tien Dung; midfielders Nguyen Quang Hai, Pham Duc Huy, Do Hung Dung, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Luong Xuan Truong, Nguyen Trong Hoang; strikers Nguyen Anh Duc, Nguyen Van Toan, Nguyen Cong Phuong...
Coach Park Hang-seo continues to trust some players who grew up from U22 Vietnam, such as goalkeeper Nguyen Van Toan; defenders Ho Tan Tai and Bui Hoang Viet Anh; midfielders Nguyen Duc Chien and Nguyen Hoang Duc, striker Nguyen Tien Linh, etc.

Besides, the presence of many new recruits is expected to bring a new breeze to the team's training session. They are Ho Tuan Tai, Nguyen Van Hoang, Phan Van Duc of SLNA, Ly Cong Hoang Anh or Nguyen Xuan Nam.
Phan Van Duc's return to the national team by coach Park is not surprising, but the presence of goalkeeper Van Hoang and striker Tuan Tai is a recognition of the efforts of these two players born in 1995. In SLNA's shirt, Van Hoang is in relatively good form with 11 saves, Tuan Tai has 3 goals, far less than the 9 goals he scored in V.League 2019.
