On the morning of March 30, pregnant woman Moong Thi Mai, in Pha Cong village, Bac Ly commune (Ky Son) was on her way to Ky Son District Medical Center togive birththen went into labor and gave birth right along the road in Pieng Pho village, Pha Danh commune (Ky Son).

Luckily, the family met Mr. Lo Van Toan - a medical officer of Pha Danh commune, who was on his way to work at the commune health station. With the help of passersby, Mr. Lo Van Toan delivered the baby.
After cutting the umbilical cord and cleaning the baby, the family and people of Pieng Pho village took the mother and child to the hospital.obstetricswent to Ky Son District Medical Center for postpartum care. Currently, the health of both mother and child is stable, the baby girl weighs 2.7kg.
According to Mr. Toan, when he met the woman, she had already given birth, the baby had just been born, but the umbilical cord was still attached. There were people around but everyone was very confused and did not know how to handle it. Mr. Toan immediately proceeded to cut the umbilical cord, clean the baby, warm it up and then transfer it to the Ky Son District Medical Center.

According to her family, when she showed signs of labor, her husband took her by motorbike from home to the Ky Son District Medical Center. However, when she was still 15 km from the district medical center, Mai gave birth. This was Mai's first birth. It is known that Mai is from Coi village, Luong Minh commune (Tuong Duong), married and moved to Pha Coong village, Bac Ly commune (Ky Son).
