(Baonghean.vn) - On December 26, units and localities organized groundbreaking ceremonies and provided funding to build comrade houses and gratitude houses for poor households in the area.

This is one of 11 houses that the Provincial Border Guard Command has mobilized sponsors to support with funding to build houses for military families in difficult circumstances who do not have a home. The support level to build a comrade house for each house is 60 million VND.

The house of the family of soldier Gia Ba Song was built with a 3-room wooden structure, roofed with corrugated iron and tiled, with an area of ​​70m2.2The project is expected to be inaugurated on March 3, 2019 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Border Guard Traditional Day and the 30th anniversary of People's Border Guard Day.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang (born in 1965) in village 5, Quynh Vinh commune has a particularly difficult situation. Her husband passed away in 2003, and she is raising 2 children alone, the second daughter of which is disabled from birth. Her family's life is extremely difficult, currently living in a makeshift house that is seriously degraded.

With the attention of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and a business, they supported 40 million VND to help Ms. Hang build a new house. The Quynh Vinh Commune Youth Union and its members provided additional material and labor to complete the house as soon as possible, helping her stabilize her life.

At Nghia Dan,Nghia Trung Commune Farmers' Associationawarded 10 million VND in support to the family of member Vi Van Hue, a Thai ethnic group, to demolish their makeshift thatched and bamboo house.

Member Vi Van Hue is a poor household, facing many difficulties in life, and does not have a permanent house to live in. Implementing the policy of the Party Committee of Nghia Trung commune, each organization and association helps to eliminate one temporary house per year, the Farmers' Association of Nghia Trung commune mobilized members to support the family with 10 million VND, and stood as a credit guarantee with the Social Policy Bank of Nghia Dan district to lend the family 30 million VND. In addition, the association also mobilized members to help Vi Van Hue's family with more than 100 working days to renovate the house.

People's Committee of Nghia Yen Commune(Nghia Dan) coordinated with Agribank Nghia Dan Trade Union to visit and present 5 million VND in support to Le Chi Nguyen in Chong hamlet, Nghia Yen commune.

Le Chi Nguyen (born 2010), is at risk of paralysis in both legs. His family is poor and his mother has a mental illness. He is currently living with his grandmother.

Mr. Vo Thai Hien is a teacher at Quynh Thanh B Primary School (Quynh Luu). His economic situation is difficult, his wife does not have a stable job, his mother is old and sick, and he has 2 small children. For a long time, he has lived in a house of only 40 m2 that has seriously degraded, without the conditions to upgrade or repair.

Faced with that situation, with the help of trade unions at all levels and relatives, Mr. Hien's family started building a new 2-room house on an area of ​​78 square meters. After 7 days of construction, the new house was completed, with a total value of more than 170 million VND, of which the District Labor Federation supported 30 million VND.
