Miss Supranational was first held in 2009 in Płock, Poland, with contestants from 40 countries and territories. After eight years, Miss Supranational has doubled its number of contestants and is considered one of the six largest beauty pageants in the world, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Earth, Miss International and Miss Grand International. In 2018, model Minh Tu entered the top 10 and won the title of Miss Supranational Asia.
