Hoai Linh and Viet Huong have wax statues made

Viet Huong is one of 100 actresses to have wax statues made for the first time in Vietnam.

2016 is an important milestone for artist Viet Huong. This is the 20th anniversary of her association with art, so "every event that happens is a memorable milestone in Viet Huong's career", the female comedian shared. When invited to build a wax statue in the project of 100 wax statues of Vietnamese artists, Viet Huong was very excited and enthusiastic to participate.

She said she had heard about this project for a long time and was very eager to do it. However, the female artist was also very surprised to receive the invitation.

Viet Huong measures her face size so that artisans can create a wax statue of her.

Viet Huong chose for herself the image of a simple ao ba ba with a basket. This image reminds her of the role that made Viet Huong famous in the program Gala Cuoi 2003, that is the girl selling banh chung and banh gio.

“Viet Huong feels extremely honored that her contributions to art are recognized in such a respectful and grand manner. This pride comes at a very special time when this year Viet Huong will hold a program to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her acting career,” the artist excitedly confided.

Viet Huong happily took photos next to wax statues of artists such as Hoai Linh, Thanh Loc, musician Van Cao... which were just completed.
