Complete Covid-19 testing for all young men preparing to leave for military service
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 24 and 25, the Provincial Military Command inspected the preparations for the military enlistment ceremony, re-examined the health and took Covid-19 test samples for young men preparing to join the army in 2021 in Nghe An province.
In 2021, Nghe An was assigned by the Government to recruit 3,350 citizens, of which 3,104 people participated in military service, assigned to 6 units of the Ministry and 10 units of Military Region IV; 246 young people performed their duty to join the People's Public Security.

To best prepare and ensure safety for the military handover ceremony taking place on February 28, the Military Commands of districts, cities and towns have organized and assigned specialized staff to coordinate in preparing the system of signs, banners, slogans, loudspeakers; completing the records, lists of citizens joining the army, and handover minutes to the military receiving unit according to the correct form. Coordinated with the district medical center to re-examine health and take samples for Covid-19 testing.

Speaking at the inspection, the leader of the Provincial Military Command requested agencies and units to do a good job of preparation, especially disease prevention and control; plans to ensure security and order. At the same time, it is necessary to grasp the ideological situation of young people to promptly coordinate with organizations to mobilize and handle any situations that arise.
In particular, localities need to pay attention to implementing military rear policies well, reviewing the family circumstances of each recruited youth to have timely support policies for difficult cases.
As of 10:00 a.m. on February 25, 3,350 young men preparing to enlist in the Army and Police, along with more than 100 reserve young men in the province, had undergone health checks and Covid-19 testing. Immediately after testing, all young men will be closely managed and monitored by local units under the direction of the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee and the Provincial Military Service Council.
