Activities to support poor students in Nghia Dan, Tan Ky
(Baonghean.vn) - Many bicycles, gifts in kind and cash were given to students in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses in Nghia Dan and Tan Ky.

Here, the program presented 20 bicycles to students in kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and high schools in the commune, with a total value of 30 million VND. The gifts are a source of spiritual and practical encouragement to help the children reduce difficulties and continue to strive in their studies.

* Dong Van Secondary School (Tan Ky)organized the launching ceremony of the National Week for Natural Disaster Prevention and Action Month for Children 2019. At the ceremony, the school's Board of Directors called on staff, teachers, parents and students of the whole school to join hands to support Nguyen Thi Nhung, a member of the 8A2 team, who is in especially difficult circumstances and has a congenital heart disease with an amount of more than 8 million VND.

Nguyen Thi Nhung suffered from heart disease since she was a child but it was discovered late. In early 2019, her family borrowed more than 100 million VND for her surgery, but the surgery was unsuccessful and she had to undergo a second surgery with the cost of nearly 400 million VND.
Nhung's family situation is particularly difficult. The house where her family lives has just had its roof blown off by a tornado. The money borrowed to take her for her first surgery has not been repaid yet, and the debt is piling up.

Dong Van 2 Primary Schoolalso held a ceremony to launch the humanitarian month and presented 1 bicycle and 5 gifts to poor students who strive to study well and 1 teacher with especially difficult circumstances of the school.
The support and help of teachers and students helps those in difficult circumstances have more motivation to overcome the pain of illness, continue to teach well, and study well.
