10th grade student edits urgent document of Provincial People's Committee and posts on social media

Previously, on social networks, there were two urgent documents issued by the People's Committee of Lam Dong province on February 15 regarding the return of preschool children, primary and secondary school students, university students, and pupils in the province to school after the 2021 Lunar New Year holiday.

It is worth noting that these two documents are similar in number, date of signing and content, but different in the time frame for allowing students to return to school: February 17 and March 1. The simultaneous appearance of these two documents has confused many parents and teachers in the area.

Regarding this, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province determined that the province only issued an urgent document with the content agreeing in principle to let students in the province return to school from Wednesday, February 17. Thus, the document allowing students in the province to return to school on March 1 isfake text.

After discovering the incident, the Cyber ​​Security force of the Internal Political Security Department - Lam Dong Provincial Police urgently coordinated with the police of units and localities to investigate and identify the subject who created the fake document as NHL (born in 2005, 10th grade student, Bao Loc City).

During the investigation, L confessed that he had downloaded a document from the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee from the internet, then used Photoshop to edit the date from February 17 to March 1 and sent it to a group chat with friends as a joke. The edited document was then spread on social media.

Currently, the authorities are consolidating the case file to handle the case in accordance with the provisions of law./.
