Nghe An students have 5 topics for the national science and technology innovation competition
(Baonghean.vn) - These are excellent projects selected from 133 projects participating in the provincial Science and Technology Innovation Competition.
That is the project: VietDe - the first purely Vietnamese operating system environment, in the field of System Software, by author Tran Manh Cuong, a student at Anh Son 2 High School. The project: Statistics, collection and treatment of waste in high school laboratories, in the field of Chemistry, by two authors Nguyen Thi Hang and Le Viet Hoang, students at Huynh Thuc Khang High School.
In addition, there are 2 projects by students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, including the project: Behavioral needs of teachers, friends, and parents of middle and high school students with psychological disorders, in the field of Social and Behavioral Sciences, by author Phan Thi Thao Nguyen; Project: Automatic buoys to prevent water from entering houses, in the field of Mechanical Engineering, by two authors Dang Thai Hung and Nguyen Van Bao Kien.

At the secondary school level, there is a project: Exploiting fresh water for people in coastal areas, in the field of Environmental Engineering, by two authors Ngo Thanh Dat and Nguyen Tien Dung, students of Dien Hai Secondary School (Dien Chau district).
The Science and Technology Competition is an annual activity held for students in grades 8 and 9 (junior high school) and high school students. It aims to encourage high school students to conduct scientific research; create technical and technological innovations and apply knowledge of subjects to solve practical problems.
According to the plan, the 2017 National Science and Technology Competition in the Northern region will start from September 6-9 in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province. Contestants will go through 2 rounds. In the field round: contestants will present their projects and answer questions from the judges at the exhibition booth in Vietnamese. Contestants who win first prize in the field competition room and are able to speak English will continue to participate in the overall competition. Contestants who win first prize nationwide will be selected to participate in the international competition. |
