The holiday starts from Saturday, February 10, 2018 to Tuesday, February 20, 2018 (ie from December 25, Dinh Dau year to January 5, Mau Tuat year).
For middle school, high school and high school continuing education students, there will be 10 consecutive days off, from Sunday, February 11, 2018 to Tuesday, February 20, 2018 (ie from December 26, Dinh Dau year to January 5, Mau Tuat year).
As for the staff and teachers of the whole industry, they will have 7 consecutive days off for the Mau Tuat Lunar New Year, from Wednesday, February 14, 2018 to Tuesday, February 20, 2018 (ie from December 29, Dinh Dau year to January 5, Mau Tuat year).

This is one of the contents just approved by the Department of Education and Training in the program to organize the Lunar New Year 2018.
The Department of Education and Training requires its affiliated units to step up propaganda and mobilization work to raise awareness of maintaining security, order and social safety; strictly comply with regulations on ensuring traffic order and safety, comply with the law, and actively participate in eliminating social evils before, during and after the Lunar New Year 2018.
It is strictly forbidden for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and students to store, transport and use fireworks.
In addition, it is necessary to practice thrift and combat waste, especially in organizing conferences and first-term review meetings; do not use assets and equipment of agencies and units to serve personal and family needs; do not attend festivals or ceremonies during working hours.
At the same time, remind staff, teachers and students to ensure environmental hygiene and food safety during Tet to minimize food poisoning and prevent acute diarrhea.
