The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision to promulgate the 2020-2021 school year time plan framework for preschool education, general education and continuing education.

Accordingly, in this school year, the whole province will organize the school opening ceremony on September 1, 2020. On September 5, schools will hold the opening ceremony of the new school year.

Also according to this plan, in the 2020-2021 school year, students will finish semester I before January 16, 2021; complete the second semester education plan before May 25, 2021 and end the school year before May 31, 2021.

For final year students, the recognition of completion of primary school and recognition of graduation from secondary school must be considered before June 15, 2021. Complete enrollment for preschool, grade 1 and grade 6 for the 2021-2022 school year before August 15, 2021.

It is expected that the province will complete enrollment in grade 10 for the 2021-2022 school year before July 31, 2021; for continuing education, before August 15, 2021.

For provincial-level exams, competitions, and competitions, the Department of Education and Training develops plans and organizes implementation, in accordance with the actual conditions of the school year.

Regarding holidays during the school year, they are implemented according to current regulations. In particular, the Lunar New Year holiday schedule in 2021, students will start their break from February 8, 2021 (ie December 27, Canh Ty year) to February 16, 2021 (ie January 5, Tan Suu year).

In case of an unusual situation (natural disaster, epidemic, fire, etc.) that prevents teaching and learning, the school principal will proactively let students take time off after reporting to the direct management level and local authorities; then arrange for serious make-up teaching and learning, ensuring the curriculum and plan of the school year.
