Thus, preschool, primary and secondary school students in Nghe An province will enter the fourth month of school break since the Lunar New Year 2020. High school students will also extend this "unprecedented" break.
During the school break, the Department of Education and Training continues to direct schools to implement online teaching and some other forms to ensure that students' learning is not interrupted.
For the past 3 weeks, some schools in the area have also switched to online teaching with regular schedules instead of just reviewing the old curriculum.

During the time students are temporarily off school, the department also requires educational institutions to strengthen effective implementation of measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic and prepare conditions for students to return to school.
According to the latest guidance from the Department of Education and Training, the department requires educational institutions to develop and issue “Learning regulations” during the time students are off school. The regulations need to provide specific regulations on online learning so that teachers and students can easily remember, do, implement, and check, clearly stipulating the time, dress code, and interaction between teachers and students during online learning hours, ensuring serious and effective learning hours.
At the same time, assign homeroom teachers to coordinate with subject teachers, parents and local authorities to regularly monitor, check and evaluate students' online learning as well as self-study at home.
