This afternoon, responding to Nghe An Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training said: The Steering Committee for Disease Prevention of the Department of Education and Training and the Director of the Department discussed and decided to continue to let students stay home from school until February 29, 2020.
After the above period, depending on the development of the epidemic situation, the Department of Education and Training will consult with the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and promptly notify educational units and institutions.
During this time, educational institutions need to focus on mobilizing all resources to arrange enough hand sanitizer systems that meet standards at educational institutions (or arrange at least 1 bottle of hand sanitizer or antiseptic in each classroom).
In addition, in coordination with the health sector and local authorities, continue to organize cleaning and disinfection of classrooms, teaching equipment, and children's toys.

In particular, to ensure that students' learning is not interrupted, educational institutions continue to review and supplement plans to guide students in self-study during school breaks in accordance with school conditions and each region, especially when the school break is prolonged, noting some contents such as: Review content for students must be unified by professional groups and built systematically for each lesson, topic or learning task for students to perform daily and weekly, ensuring appropriate duration when students study at home.
The form of providing review content and guiding students to self-study can be through: E-Learning system, school website, email address, Zalo, Facebook, facetime...
In addition, it is necessary to develop a plan to assign subject teachers to assist students when they submit their homework results, self-study notes, or need to exchange information on the E-Learning system deployed by the school.
