Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hanoi opens new school year

Attending the opening ceremony were Most Venerable Thich Thanh Dat, Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hanoi; Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Head of the Central Buddhist Education Committee, President of the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hanoi; Professor Luong Gia Tinh, Vice President, Head of the Academy's Training Department, Editor-in-Chief of Khuong Viet Magazine and all monks, nuns and students of all grades.

Awarding certificates of merit to students with excellent academic achievements in the 2020-2021 school year

At the ceremony, Professor Luong Gia Tinh, on behalf of the Academy's Executive Board, reported on the training work of the 2020-2021 school year, the direction of activities for the 2021-2022 year, and the plan to publish Khuong Viet Magazine online.

Accordingly, the Academy has overcome all difficulties and completed 90% of the training program as planned. The Academy has a total of 424 monks and nuns studying in three training systems: 301 third-year students, course VIII of Bachelor's degree; 45 college students, course VI; 78 bachelor's degree students, courses II, III and IV.

For the Bachelor's program, based on the results of the quality test of the entire Academy, there are 32 excellent students (10.6%); 204 good students (67.8%); 58 good students (19.3%), the rest are qualified.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee announced the operating license of Khuong Viet magazine with simultaneous operation of 2 types: print and electronic magazine, license number 522/GP-BTTTT, dated August 13, 2021 with the domain name Khuongviet.vn.
