Nghe An Red Cross Society shares with people in flood-hit Ha Hoa area (Phu Tho)
Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, after more than 1 day of calling for support, organizations and individuals in Vinh city have supported and directly transported relief goods to people in flooded areas.
After a night of traveling, on the morning of September 13, the Nghe An Provincial Cross Society delegation, representatives of philanthropists and the Thanh Vinh Charity Porridge Group arrived at the isolated hamlets of Hien Luong Commune, Hien Luong Kindergarten, Ha Hoa District, Phu Tho Province.

Here, more than 7 tons of goods including: water, cakes, milk, vacuum-packed boiled eggs, dry food, sausages, bird's nest drinks, flu medicine, clothes, life jackets, peanuts... were given by the delegation to isolated households and severely flooded areas of the commune. The total value of the goods is over 300 million VND.

Mr. Phan Huu Tinh - Nghe An relief team shared: "We packed 2 large trucks, tried to go to the isolated area, delivered necessary necessities to the people, heard and saw with our own eyes the great losses of the people, shared the loss with the people, felt that our work was meaningful, when the people were in great need".
Ms. Nguyet - the most active person in promoting packaging and vacuuming to make the gifts last longer shared: "I stayed up all night without sleeping, feeling sorry for the people, trying to mobilize everyone to fill the truck with goods."

This is the second shipment of the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross and philanthropists in Vinh City to share with flood victims in the northern provinces.
