Provincial Red Cross Society gives breeding pigs to poor households in Tuong Duong, Ky Son
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 25, Nghe An Red Cross Society went to Tuong Duong and Ky Son districts to distribute breeding pigs to poor households in the area.

The total number of piglets distributed is 44, worth 110 million VND, of which Luong Minh commune (Tuong Duong) received 22 pigs for 11 households; Ta Ca commune (Ky Son district) received 22 pigs for 11 households, an average of 2 piglets per household.
The selected pig breed is a local black sow breed, which has been bred to ensure that poor households can take care of it easily, adapt to environmental conditions, and develop well.

At the piglet distribution ceremony, the representative of the Provincial Red Cross Society hoped that households would master the breeding techniques that had been instructed to take good care of the piglets to contribute to improving their lives and reducing poverty.
