Nghe An Outstanding Business Association: A gathering place for leading businesses in Nghe An

(Baonghean) - Nghe An Outstanding Business Association (established on October 28, 2008) is a professional social organization that gathers the strongest and most outstanding businesses in the province. The Association has become a destination, a gathering place for leading businesses in Nghe An. The Association's members are the core for contributing to the province's budget, creating solidarity and being exemplary for businesses in the province to develop together. The members always ensure a similar position in all aspects with the Association's motto "Integration - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development".

In carrying out the functions and tasks of the Association, in recent times, the Association has acted as a good bridge between enterprises in and outside the province, between enterprises and all levels and sectors; always accompanying and closely working with enterprises to resolve difficulties and obstacles of members, creating favorable conditions for members to develop.

The Association is ready to form joint ventures and partnerships to create a combined strength for members to compete fairly in the market; always harmoniously combining business interests with the policies of the Party and the State as well as timely instructions from leaders at all levels in the province. On the other hand, the Association is also a red address for social charity work, the Association's leaders and members are always proactive and take the lead in charity and humanitarian work for community development.

Since its establishment, the Nghe An Provincial Outstanding Business Association has continuously grown in size and organization, becoming a support for the business community, helping member businesses operate more proactively, confidently and effectively in the process of improving competitiveness and pursuing the goals of each type of business in harmonious development with different goals... Currently, the Association has a total of 320 members, including 170 official organizational members; 35 individual members and honorary members; 115 associate members.

One of the outstanding achievements of the Association in the first term of the last term was the initiative and proposal to the Provincial People's Committee to award the "Nghe An Businessman Gold Cup". This is a noble award that the Party Committee and the people of the province give to outstanding businessmen with the purpose of encouraging, motivating and honoring good business leaders with many achievements in developing businesses and the community, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of Nghe An.

In 2010, the Association was permitted by the Provincial People's Committee to organize the first "Nghe An Businessman Gold Cup" award ceremony. In 2011, the Association organized the second "Nghe An Businessman Gold Cup" award ceremony and then "Nghe An Businessman Gold Cup" was held every two years at the beginning of the new spring. In 2013, the third "Nghe An Businessman Gold Cup" award ceremony was held. In 2015, the Association continued to organize the fourth award ceremony and especially in 2017, the Association coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee to successfully organize the fifth "Nghe An Businessman Gold Cup" award ceremony.

With the good and useful meaning that the award brings, this award will be maintained and increasingly developed sustainably. Through the award, it has promoted investment promotion, joint ventures, and associations between enterprises inside and outside the province, especially overseas Vietnamese and foreign enterprises.

During its operation, the Association attaches great importance to and operates effectively in removing difficulties and obstacles for businesses. In addition, the Association always closely follows and protects the legitimate rights and interests of its members, and participates in organizing many important events in the province. In addition, with the attention and support of authorities at all levels, especially the Provincial People's Committee, since the beginning of 2016, it has regularly organized monthly meetings with associations and departments, branches and sectors, thereby resolving many difficulties and obstacles for businesses, which has been highly appreciated by the business community. This is a very effective work, demonstrating high responsibility towards the business community of the province; it is considered a boost and a great source of encouragement for businesses to confidently produce and do business, and continuously develop.

Regarding foreign affairs, in recent times, the Association has been proactive and actively coordinated with provincial leaders to organize many meetings and work effectively with other business associations such as: Nghe An Association in Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Northern provinces of Thailand and Vientiane, Xieng Khouang - Laos, Japan, Nghe Tinh Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Farm and Agricultural Enterprise Association, Lao National Young Entrepreneurs Association... These activities have left many good results, many cooperation documents have been signed between the parties to promote investment cooperation, joint ventures, and associations to develop the province's socio-economy.

In addition, the Association regularly organizes necessary forums to support businesses and business management training courses for entrepreneurs. Implementing the Project on Training Nghe An Entrepreneurs of the Provincial People's Committee, in consecutive years from 2013 to 2016, the Nghe An Outstanding Business Association organized 6 business management training courses for members and a number of entrepreneurs and individuals in need in the province.

Through these courses, students acquire valuable knowledge to successfully apply to their enterprises' production and business practices; create motivation to develop enterprises, create more jobs for workers and contribute to the socio-economic development of the province. In particular, the Association participated in establishing the "Nghe An Talent Fund" as a founder of the Fund and participated in organizing the Nghe An Talent Award program for Nghe An children twice, which was recognized and highly appreciated by all levels, sectors and people.

In recent times, the Nghe An Association of Outstanding Enterprises has become a red address for social security and charity work with very meaningful activities such as: "Program to support poor patients" at Nghe An General Friendship Hospital, Nghe An Oncology Hospital. This program has been operating for nearly 7 years, hundreds of thousands of bowls of porridge have reached poor patients, partially easing the physical and mental pain of the patients. This is a charitable initiative, a long-term and outstanding activity of the Association and the greater benefit is the spread of this work, up to now many organizations, many localities, many hospitals have also learned the model and followed.

In addition, there are other charity programs such as helping poor communes in Western Nghe An; supporting the poor, giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers in the province; "For Children's Smiles" program; Supporting people affected by natural disasters; Agent Orange victims; Joining hands to support the movement "Donating blood to save lives - a noble act" of the Provincial Hematology - Blood Transfusion Center; Giving seawater filters into fresh water to officers and soldiers of Mat Island and Ngu Island; "Supporting to go to school" program for poor students in mountainous and border areas; "Accompanying to school" program; Free medical examination and medicine for the poor; supporting and helping students in difficult circumstances to get high scores in university entrance exams, students in difficult circumstances to get high scores in national high school entrance exams; participating in the program "Tet for the poor".

In recognition of the performance of the Nghe An Outstanding Business Association, in 2012 the Provincial People's Committee decided to award the Emulation Flag to the Association for its excellent and comprehensive completion of its tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement in Nghe An province in 2011. Continuously from 2010 to 2017, the Association and its individual members were awarded many Certificates of Merit and certificates by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and organizations. In April 2017, the Association was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its outstanding achievements in production and business activities, making important contributions to the cause of socio-economic development as well as building and developing the Vietnamese business community.

In particular, the greatest honor of the Association, recognizing the outstanding achievements in all aspects of the Association in the past term, at this 2nd Congress, the Nghe An Typical Business Association received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister according to Decision No. 1194/QD - TTg dated August 14, 2017. This is a source of pride and great motivation for the Association to strive in the coming term.

Inheriting and promoting the achievements of the first term, Nghe An Outstanding Business Association continues to develop in all aspects, admit new members, constantly support and act as a bridge for businesses inside and outside the province, propagate the Party and State's guidelines and policies, and the province's policies, to maintain political security and social order, and encourage members to create jobs to attract local workers.

In the coming term, the Association's direction and tasks are to lead the Association to closely coordinate with the provincial leaders and departments, branches and sectors to continue to remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises, contribute to building a practical and effective administrative reform plan for the province, promote with the Associations to prepare to establish the "Nghe An Business Association" to create favorable conditions for the province's direction to reach all Associations in the province, in line with the trend of increasingly deep and wide integration with the world, especially to discuss together strategically to maintain market share, develop the market; organize necessary forums to support enterprises;...

At the same time, establish the "Social Enterprise" of the Nghe An Outstanding Business Association. Prepare for the awarding of the "Nghe An Businessman Gold Cup" periodically held every 2 years. Continue to innovate foreign affairs, strengthen work with partners to bring efficiency and high benefits to member businesses. The Association's leaders and member businesses will actively participate in social security and charity work, contributing to sharing the pressure on the government apparatus.

With the motto "Integration - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development", promoting the achievements and results that have been achieved, the Association will constantly strive, overcome difficulties, unite, cooperate, be enthusiastic, voluntary, dynamic, creative, equal to continue to comprehensively promote the Association's activities, improve the quality of activities and be worthy of the name "Nghe An Typical Business Association".
