People place their hopes and trust in the 20th Provincial Party Congress

Through monitoring, I see that this Congress was prepared and organized with a lot of enthusiasm. With many years of experience working in the field of human resource and talent development, I would like to send to the Congress my thoughts and concerns, with the hope of contributing to the development of my homeland.

Currently, our country as well as Nghe An are facing many opportunities and challenges that change the labor structure such as artificial intelligence, green economy, digital economy, energy transition. We are also entering the aging population period, the "golden population window" is closing. If we do not take advantage in the next 10 years, the risk of falling behind is extremely high. Nghe An is a land rich in tradition of learning, with many large universities, but the phenomenon of "brain drain" and lack of connection between training - research - businesses is still worth paying attention to.

In the coming term, the province needs to have a breakthrough mindset in training high-quality human resources, shifting from "mass training" to "training according to market needs" by closely linking schools - businesses - government; from "academic education" to "education combining practice, creativity and entrepreneurship"; from "low-brain and cheap labor" to "knowledge-based labor", "high-brain", focusing on the fields of information technology, logistics, biotechnology, renewable energy; from "brain drain" to "brain circulation" by policies to attract, retain and reinvest in the quality of human resources from overseas Vietnamese, international students, and successful Nghe An people everywhere.

Watching live the opening session and the main content of the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 on television, I truly felt the vibrant and solemn political atmosphere, demonstrating the strong will, belief and aspiration to rise of the entire Party Committee, government and people of the province.

Through the opening speech of the Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung, the political report and the directions of the Politburo that were thoroughly presented at the Congress, I clearly saw the close adherence to reality and the "pillar" resolutions on regional and national development of the Central Committee. In particular, the consistent spirit is the aspiration for rapid and sustainable development, turning the great potential of land, labor, transportation, and strategic location into practical driving forces.

The harmonious combination of summarizing the term with affirming achievements in the face of many difficulties and challenges due to natural disasters and epidemics, along with pointing out limitations and shortcomings, has created confidence that this Congress not only looks straight at the truth but also arouses the will to innovate, be creative, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility for the benefit of the people and the development of the province.

With that spirit, I, as well as many cadres, party members and people, hope that the delegates will uphold their sense of responsibility and collective intelligence to discuss and propose strategic directions, key tasks, and correct breakthrough areas, turning aspirations into actions, turning potential into strength, and making Nghe An one of the development centers of the North Central region and the whole country in the new era.

Along with that, it is necessary to propose specific and feasible policies and solutions to create breakthroughs in administrative reform, improve high-quality human resources, focusing on improving the quality of staff in the political system to meet the requirements of the two-level government's operations to be truly close to the people, close to the people and truly for the people.

First of all, the Provincial Party Executive Committee of the 20th term must be truly the "elite" of the "elite"; therefore, I hope that the delegates attending the Congress will promote their intelligence and responsibility to elect a new Executive Committee with the courage, intelligence, heart and vision to realize the goal of bringing Nghe An to develop rapidly, comprehensively and sustainably.

Through Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, I and many cadres and party members have fully followed the preparation process for the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. The information conveyed has highlighted the determination to innovate, the aspiration to rise up and the responsibility of the Provincial Party Committee, thereby arousing great confidence and expectations among cadres, party members and people.

The highlight that created a strong impression was that the contents presented at the Congress outlined a comprehensive and profound picture of the past 5 years. It was a vivid picture of the efforts, unity and overcoming difficulties of the Party Committee and people of Nghe An.

The outstanding achievements have affirmed the strength of solidarity and the aspiration for development: The economy maintained a fairly high growth rate, many key projects were implemented such as coastal roads, upgrading Vinh International Airport, developing industrial and urban infrastructure; the new rural construction movement achieved high results; culture and society changed positively, social security was ensured; national defense and security were maintained, Party building work became increasingly tight and effective.

I am particularly impressed with the theme of this Congress, which demonstrates the desire for innovation and strategic vision, opening up a comprehensive development orientation in the next 5 years with determination and drastic innovation in development thinking, towards a more modern growth model; taking science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as the main driving force; taking institutional innovation and governance as a lever; taking Nghe An culture and people as the foundation, creating new impetus, breakthrough development commensurate with the potential, position and role of the province in the North Central region and the whole country, worthy of being the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh; self-reliant, self-reliant, confident with the whole country entering a new era of development.

I believe that the determination and orientation from the Congress will be quickly realized through specific programs and actions, continuing to spread as a driving force for the entire Party and people to join hands to build Nghe An rich, civilized and modern.

Watching the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 on live television, I deeply felt the solemn, democratic and highly responsible atmosphere.

I was extremely impressed by the guest delegates attending the Congress, including Party and State leaders, ministries, central departments and branches, leaders of neighboring provinces, provincial leaders through the periods, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the Armed Forces... In particular, the 500 main delegates attending the Congress were people with outstanding moral qualities, bravery and intelligence, selected from the grassroots, with inheritance between generations, clearly demonstrating high representativeness for all classes of people, fields, professions and regions in the province.

That affirms the elaborate, thoughtful and serious preparation of Party committees at all levels in personnel work, ensuring that the Congress is truly a "convergence of intelligence, solidarity, innovation and development".

I believe that, with their capacity, courage and responsibility, the delegates will promote the spirit of democracy and intelligence, discuss together, propose orientations, goals and targets in line with reality; at the same time, demonstrate the strong aspiration of the Party and people of Nghe An to rise up in the new period. The decisions adopted at the Congress are not only long-term orientations but also closely linked to specific tasks and solutions, close to real life, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of the province.

What I appreciate is the spirit of promoting the strength of national solidarity, which is clearly shown in all documents, discussions and the atmosphere of the Congress. This is the driving force, the great source of strength for Nghe An to turn determination into action, turn aspirations into reality: To turn our province into a fairly developed, extremely growing province at the national level in the new era.

As a son of Nghe An living far away from home, I always follow every step of my homeland's changes, especially this Congress, we also follow through the press. I really hope that in the next term, the province will pay attention to the following issues:

The first,on natural disaster prevention. In recent times, Nghe An has had to face natural disasters that are increasingly extreme, unusual, more frequent, more intense, and unpredictable. These “unprecedented” weather phenomena are considered by scientists to be a clear consequence of climate change.

In that context, I recommend a rapid and drastic shift from passive responses to proactive, creative, sustainable solutions, applying high technology in forecasting, raising public awareness, early warning and integrated risk management.

Monday,on education and culture. The congress coincides with the Lifelong Learning Week. This is an ideal time for Nghe An to affirm and spread the desire to conquer knowledge. I hope the province has a specific strategy to build Nghe An into the "capital" of education with the spirit of self-study, continuous learning, lifelong learning - where learning becomes a distinctive cultural feature. It is necessary to research and apply advanced and creative models in education, especially the strong application of artificial intelligence; develop community learning spaces and encourage intergenerational learning models.

Tuesday, on green economic development. Nghe An's natural potential, cultural heritage and revolutionary history are valuable advantages for developing green economy and sustainable tourism.

I hope the province will have a reasonable exploitation strategy, both to enrich the economy and to preserve the environment and identity. I believe that, with political determination and the desire to rise, Nghe An will become a prosperous, modern and humane province.

Directly following the opening session of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, which was broadcast live on Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television, Mr. Nguyen Huy Duong - a resident of Con Cuong commune expressed: Cadres, party members and people in the locality are very happy and excited about the socio-economic development achievements of the province in the past term. Following the opening session live, we, the youth, hope that this term's Congress will bring about innovative, creative and breakthrough policies, creating conditions for the young generation to be trained, contribute and become a pioneering force in all fields.

In addition, the congress will have many solutions to promote the application of information technology, digital transformation, training high-quality human resources, creating many job opportunities; arousing the aspirations of young people in studying, establishing themselves, starting a business, and contributing to building their homeland.
