Russian Security Council outlines Ukraine's attack on Kursk
The goal of Ukraine's attack on Kursk is to force Russia to negotiate on Kiev's terms.

According to RIA Novosti on September 10, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu said in an interview with Rossia 24 TV channel that Ukraine attacked the Kursk region to force Russia to negotiate under Kiev's conditions.
“But we have enough strength, and continue to move forward,” said Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu.
Commenting on the enemy's losses, Mr. Sergei Shoigu said that on average every day in August and the first week of September, Ukraine lost control of 28 km2 of territory, with 2,000 casualties; nearly 1,000 km22in Donbass has come under the control of Russian armed forces.
“Every day, the Ukrainian side loses an average of 28 km2territory. But the most important thing is not even how many kilometers2, most importantly the Ukrainian armed forces lost 2,000 servicemen killed and wounded every day. On September 10, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that its army had taken control of Krasnogorovka, Grigorovka, Galitsynivka and Vodyanoye in Donetsk.
Previously, on September 9, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in the fighting in the Kursk direction, Ukraine lost more than 11,400 soldiers and 89 tanks.
