President Biden calls Ukraine's attack on Kursk (Russia) a 'dilemma'
US President Joe Biden called the Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive in Russia's Kursk region a "dilemma", and said he was being briefed on the situation "every four to five hours".

According to TASS news agency, US President Joe Biden described the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Russia's Kursk region as a "real dilemma". The US leader's words were quoted by journalists from the White House press pool.
President Biden said he is being briefed on the situation in Kursk “every four to five hours.” He noted that the Ukrainian offensive creates a “real dilemma.”
"I've been talking to my staff regularly, probably every 4-5 hours for the last 6-8 days. This really creates a dilemma for Mr. Putin. We are in direct and regular contact with the Ukrainians. That's all I can say."
Earlier, at a regular press briefing, Pentagon spokesman General Patrick Ryder of the US Air Force said that the US government continues to try to learn from the Kiev government about the purpose of the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region.
To date, President Joe Biden has refused to speak publicly about the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region.
The White House and the State Department have ignored requests for comment on reports from the US media that the US government is “sponsoring” Kiev’s activities.
Earlier on August 13, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying that Ukraine was considering several scenarios for a surprise attack on Russia, after receiving "sponsorship" from US and European Union leaders for the first attack on Russian territory since World War II.
