Nghe An Association in Hanoi will launch a fundraising campaign to eliminate 200 temporary houses.

Responding to the call of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Nghe An province, the Nghe An Association in Hanoi proactively registered and called on businessmen, enterprises and individuals inside and outside the capital Hanoi to support the construction of 200 houses, worth over 10 billion VND.

In 2022, Nghe An province's budget revenue will reach VND 20,350 billion, 27/28 main targets will be achieved and exceeded, but in the province there are still more than 55,000 poor households, more than 53,000 near-poor households; of which 15,300 households are facing housing difficulties, including 9,200 households in need of new construction and more than 6,100 households in need of housing repair.

Therefore, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee agreed to organize a launching ceremony of the campaign to support the construction of houses for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances in Nghe An province in the period of 2023 - 2025.

Nghe An province has established a Steering Committee at the provincial, district and communal levels to mobilize and support housing construction for poor and near-poor households, headed by the Party Secretary, of which at the provincial level, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council is the Head of the Committee.

As expected, representatives of Nghe An province's leaders, many individuals and units of Nghe An community in Hanoi will participate in this event.
