Update on housing construction results for the poor week 3, April 2025 and the remaining housing needs in Nghe An
In week 3, April 2025 (from April 11 to 17), the program to mobilize and support the poor and households in difficult housing circumstances continued to be promoted by both the political system and the social community, with a total of 440 new houses being started and 518 houses being completed and handed over for use.

Started and completed 958 houses
According to the update from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province in 20 districts, cities and towns, in week 3, April 2025 (from April 11 to 17), the whole province continued to start construction on 440 houses (235 new houses, 205 houses repaired).
Of these, 142 houses (84 newly built, 58 repaired) are funded by social funds under the province's Program 1838; 147 houses (79 newly built, 68 repaired) are funded by 2 national target programs; 151 houses (72 newly built, 79 repaired) are funded by the Housing Support Program for People with Merits.

Details of the number of new houses started during the week in 14 localities (data from high to low): Tuong Duong district started the most construction of 168 houses (79 new houses, 89 repaired houses); followed by Ky Son district started construction of 69 houses (47 new houses, 22 repaired houses); Nam Dan district started construction of 57 houses (42 new houses, 15 repaired houses); Yen Thanh district started construction of 31 houses (18 new houses, 7 repaired houses).

Nghia Dan district started construction of 25 houses (18 new houses, 7 repaired houses); Thai Hoa town started construction of 24 houses (11 new houses, 13 repaired houses); Nghi Loc district started construction of 17 houses (5 new houses, 15 repaired houses); Thanh Chuong district started construction of 11 houses (4 new houses, 7 repaired houses).
Quy Chau district started construction of 9 houses (7 new houses, 2 repaired houses); Anh Son district started construction of 8 houses (1 new house, 7 repaired houses); Vinh city started construction of 8 houses (1 new house, 7 repaired houses); Do Luong district started construction of 5 houses; Hung Nguyen district started construction of 5 houses; Dien Chau district started construction of 2 houses (1 new house, 1 repaired house).

In week 3, April 2025, the total number of completed, handed over and put into use houses was 518 (155 newly built houses, 363 repaired houses).
Of which, the source from Program 1838 is 230 houses (100 new houses, 130 houses repaired); the source from 2 national target programs is 208 houses (39 new houses, 169 houses repaired); the source from the Housing Support Program for Meritorious People is 80 houses (16 new houses, 64 houses repaired).

Details of the number of houses completed, handed over, and put into use in week 3, April 2025 in 14 localities (data from high to low):
The most is Tuong Duong district, which has completed 233 houses (39 newly built, 194 repaired); Con Cuong district has completed 102 houses (46 newly built, 56 repaired); Quy Chau district has completed 32 houses (12 newly built, 20 repaired); Do Luong district has completed 27 houses (4 newly built, 23 repaired); Ky Son district has completed 25 newly built houses.

Que Phong district completed 21 houses (1 new house, 20 repaired houses); Nghi Loc district completed 17 houses (6 new houses, 11 repaired houses); Nam Dan district completed 16 houses (4 new houses, 12 repaired houses); Vinh city completed 11 repaired houses; Hung Nguyen district completed 10 houses (8 new houses, 2 repaired houses).
Dien Chau district completed 9 houses (7 newly built houses, 2 repaired houses); Anh Son district completed 8 repaired houses; Yen Thanh district completed 2 newly built houses; Nghia Dan district completed 2 repaired houses.

Also from the update of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, in week 3, April 2025, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses for the Poor in the province received support from Thai Binh Investment Joint Stock Company of 3 billion VND and IDC Group Joint Stock Company of 50 million VND.
District-level localities have disbursed VND 4,570 million from socialized sources and VND 60 million from support for meritorious people to serve housing construction for people.

Compared with the housing needs reviewed and approved in localities (as of April 17, 2025) of 21,225 units and the cumulative implementation results from the beginning of the program (February 2023) to April 17, 2025 with a total of 15,246 units; the total remaining housing needs from now until July 31, 2025 in the whole province is 5,979 units (3,533 new units, 2,446 units repaired).
Of which, the socialized source program is 1,669 houses (1,060 new houses, 609 repaired houses); the source 2 of the National Target Program is 1,408 houses (820 new houses, 588 repaired houses); the housing support program for people with revolutionary contributions is 2,902 houses (1,653 new houses, 1,249 repaired houses).

The most are in Tuong Duong district with 1,071 houses (469 newly built, 602 repaired); Dien Chau district with 831 houses (639 newly built, 192 repaired); Yen Thanh district with 577 houses (392 newly built, 185 repaired); Ky Son district with 518 houses (408 newly built, 110 repaired); Quy Chau district with 463 houses (347 newly built, 116 repaired).
Con Cuong district 439 houses (290 newly built, 149 repaired); Vinh city 334 houses (135 newly built, 199 repaired); Que Phong district 312 houses (83 newly built, 229 repaired); Hung Nguyen district 253 houses (113 newly built, 140 repaired); Thanh Chuong district 225 houses (107 newly built, 118 repaired); Tan Ky district 220 houses (102 newly built, 118 repaired).

Nam Dan district: 156 houses (103 newly built, 53 repaired); Anh Son district: 139 houses (70 newly built, 69 repaired); Nghi Loc district: 117 houses (68 newly built, 49 repaired).
Do Luong district: 92 houses (55 newly built, 37 repaired); Nghia Dan district: 89 houses (55 newly built, 34 repaired); Thai Hoa town: 63 houses (29 newly built, 34 repaired); Quynh Luu district: 57 houses (54 newly built, 3 repaired).
