Quy Hop Women's Union hands over 'Warm House of Love'

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 28, the Women's Union of Quy Hop district held a ceremony to hand over the "Warm House of Love" house to the family of Ms. Truong Thi Vien in Quang Thinh hamlet, Chau Quang commune.

Ms. Truong Thi Vien (46 years old) is in a particularly difficult situation, living alone, suffering from cirrhosis of the liver, and being sick often. For many years, she has had to live in a dilapidated temporary house but has no money to renovate or upgrade it.

Leaders of the Women's Union of Quy Hop district and leaders of Chau Quang commune handed over the Shelter of Love house to Ms. Vien.

To help Ms. Vien rebuild her house, the Women's Union of Quy Hop district donated 15 million VND. The remaining amount was supported by the Women's Union, other departments, organizations, and the Fund for the Poor of Chau Quang commune, with additional money, labor, materials, etc.

After 2 months of construction, the 2-room house with a usable area of ​​over 50m2 and a value of over 60 million VND was completed. The completed house helps Ms. Vien have a stable place to live and feel secure in working when the rainy season comes.
