On the afternoon of May 7, the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts held a preparatory session for the 10th Congress of Delegates, term 2018 - 2023.

The Nghe An Literature and Arts Association has 316 members in 8 specialized departments. During the last term, the association published over 150 books, nearly 150 fine art works, and 130 art photos that were exhibited nationally and regionally.
During the past term, the association had many authors receiving awards from Central Professional Associations, many members were awarded the titles of Meritorious Artist, Folk Artist...

At the preparatory session, delegates attending the congress elected the Presidium, Secretariat, and Delegate Qualification Examination Board; approved the program, working regulations of the congress, and election regulations.
In addition to evaluating the activities of the past term, the Congress will unify the direction of activities and solutions for more effective activities in the coming term. The core and consistent task is to promote creativity, create conditions for breakthroughs in creativity, improve quality and efficiency in activities. The method of operation is all oriented towards members, creating favorable conditions for members to create and participate in the activities of the Association.

At the preparatory session, delegates agreed to introduce a list of 20 delegates to elect 15 members of the Executive Committee of the Literature and Arts Association for the next term.
