Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association cooperates with Viettel to organize an online race for the community

With the message "Overcoming limits, accelerating to lead", the "Homewifi - Nghe An Run Awards 2020" race is co-organized by Viettel Nghe An and Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association with the aim of launching a physical education and sports movement for all people in the province, encouraging and motivating the spirit of self-training for oneself, for life, improving physical fitness to improve the quality of study and work.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Chairman of Nghe An Journalists Association and members of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Journalists Association.leaders of Nghe An Newspaper, Song Lam Magazine, leaders of some departments and branches... On the side of Viettel Nghe An, there was Mr. Nguyen Canh Hoa - Director of Viettel Nghe An.

At the meeting, the Nghe An Journalists Association and Viettel Nghe An agreed on a number of issues related to the coordination of organizing and disseminating the contest to a wide audience. Mr. Nguyen Canh Hoa - Director of Viettel Nghe An pledged to optimize the quality of the contest, recognize the results using 4.0 technology. At the same time, he hoped that after this contest, the Nghe An Journalists Association and Viettel Nghe An would continue to accompany and coordinate to promote mutual development.

On behalf of the Nghe An Journalists Association, Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc - Head of the Organizing Committee thanked Viettel Nghe An for their efforts and called on local press agencies to join hands and coordinate to bring the tournament to a successful and effective end. Accordingly, all people living, studying and working in Nghe An province can participate. The tournament will take place from October 5 to December 31, 2020 and is divided into 3 stages.

To participate in the tournament, runners are completely proactive and flexible in running anywhere, at any time of the day, as long as they are connected to the application and the system that records the tournament results.

HOW TO REGISTER:

- Step 01: Preparation: Each individual must equip themselves with a sports watch that can connect/sync with Strava software such as Apple watch, Garmin... or install the Strava app on their smartphone.

- Step 02: Register on the online system to record the results (detailed registration steps will be included in the instructions).

- Step 03: Join the contest via Strava and Garmin apps from October 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, divided into 3 stages: October, November, December 2020.

EXAM FORMAT:

- This is an open race, athletes can run anywhere, at any time, just need to record their results on their personal phones (according to the result recording software).

- Only applies to outdoor running, not accepting indoor running, treadmill or walking results.

- Average speed within the specified time range: 3:00' - 14:00'

- Apply the rule of “no finish, no medal”. The Organizing Committee can check the results provided by the player if it suspects the results are dishonest.

In each stage, the Organizing Committee will base on the ranking results on the system.challenge.vnto award medals to athletes who complete the distance (maximum 30 people/stage, results are taken from top to bottom), give sports shirts to 20 members (10 men + 10 women) with the best results, give a Homewifi Super Net 2 product set to the stage champion (1 man + 1 woman).

At the same time, individuals who reach the milestone of completing the distance will be awarded an online certificate from the Organizing Committee. In addition, the Organizing Committee will also base on the cumulative results of all 3 stages to award the final prize with many attractive rewards.
