Nghe An Farmers' Association launches campaign to clean up marine environment
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 5, Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with Nghi Loc District Farmers' Association to organize a campaign to clean up the marine environment in Nghi Thiet Commune (Nghi Loc). This is a model chosen by the Provincial Farmers' Association as a pilot.
Here, over 130 delegates, including Chairmen of Farmers' Associations of coastal communes and officials and members of Nghi Thiet commune's farmers' association, were informed by representatives of the Department of Environmental Protection - Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the province about the contents related to themarine environment protection, rural environment.

On this occasion, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized a launching ceremony to clean up the marine environment, accordingly, over 130 delegates launched a general cleanup, collection,waste treatmentcleaning the marine environment on coastal residential roads in Rong hamlet, Nghi Thiet commune (Nghi Loc).

At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee launched the model of "Self-managed team to protect the marine environment", and presented 80 trash bins to 5 farmer and fisherman associations of Nghi Thiet commune to be placed on fishing boats of the company.fisherman, public places and located at the Fishing Port with the message "One more trash can, one cleaner blue sea".

This is an opportunity to contribute to propaganda, calling on fishermen, farmers and the whole community to take small, practical actions every day such as: not littering, classifying waste, limiting the use of plastic bags, disposable plastic products... to join hands to protect the marine environment.
