Women's Union of Nghe An Military Command visits and encourages people in flooded areas of Ky Son
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 7, the Women's Union of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support people in the flooded areas of Ky Son district, hoping that people will soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
Practically supporting the people in the flooded area of Ky Son, helping them reduce difficulties, the Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command has mobilized officers and soldiers in agencies and units to support cash, items such as pants, shirts, shoes, sandals, blankets, books and pens... with a total value up to this point of 255 million VND.

On October 7, coming to the flood-hit people of Ky Son district, the Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command met, visited, encouraged people and presented 320 gifts, including essential necessities with a total value of more than 96 million VND to households that suffered heavy damage caused by natural disasters and floods.

In particular, the Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command presented 270 gifts to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Son district; presented 50 gifts to people in Hoa Son and Son Ha villages, Ta Ca commune, who were severely affected by natural disasters; 21 gifts worth over 10 million VND to families of military personnel, families of soldiers on active duty, households with the elderly, women and children.
