Workshop on Entrepreneurship Journey from High School in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 26, at Ha Huy Tap High School, the Department of Education and Training in collaboration with the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture organized a workshop on Entrepreneurship Journey from High School.
Previously, since 2017, to equip knowledge and skills aboutstart upfor students during their time studying at schools, promoting the entrepreneurial spirit of students, creating a favorable environment to support students in forming and realizing startup ideas and projects, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1665/QD-TTg dated October 30, 2017 approving the Project "Supporting students to start a business until 2025".
According to this project, students of universities, academies, colleges, junior colleges, high schools and vocational education - continuing education centers will be educated and raised awareness, equipped with knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship before graduation.

The workshop “Journey to start a business from high school” had the participation of experienced speakers in education and start-ups. Through the presentations, the workshop focused on current topics that students are interested in such as: Human resource needs in the 4.0 industrial revolution, start-up activities and the Technology Knowledge and Creative Start-up Contest.
The workshop also received many comments from delegates on: mechanisms and policies to promote students to participate in startups; ways to nurture and develop startup ideas; startups from high school - advice from experts; startups must be closely linked to social orientations and development...

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Vo Van Mai - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training highly appreciated the significance of the program. This workshop will contribute to promoting, nurturing, and nurturing the ideas and passion for entrepreneurship for students right from their high school days, thereby contributing to building successful startups to serve the nation and make the country prosperous.

Through this workshop, the Department's leaders also requested that high schools and continuing education centers take advantage of opportunities, strengthen connections and cooperation with universities in training, career orientation and entrepreneurship for students.
At the same time, Nghe An students must proactively learn and boldly discuss with education and startup experts about learning opportunities, startups, career development and future orientation.
According to the content of the cooperation agreement signed between the Department of Education and Training and the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, from this school year, the Academy will continue to implement many activities to support high school students of Nghe An province in realizing their aspirations for learning, scientific research and passion for entrepreneurship, aiming to form innovative thinking, contributing to the development of a green, clean, safe and sustainable economy.
