Workshop "History of Nghe An Provincial Border Guard" period 1959 - 2019

Through a period of research and document collection, the Drafting Committee has completed the Draft on the research and compilation of the history of the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee for the period 1959 - 2019, including 4 chapters:

Chapter 1:The Party Committee of the People's Armed Police Border Guard Zone and the Party Committee of the People's Armed Police Domestic Zone of Nghe An province were established to lead the implementation of the tasks of protecting the border and domestic areas, and carrying out international tasks to help Laos (1959 - 1963).

Chapter 2:The People's Armed Police Party Committee of Nghe An province was established and led the implementation of the task of protecting security, fighting against the destructive war of American imperialism, and supporting the Southern battlefield and the Lao battlefield (1964 - 1975).

Chapter 3: Building a Party organization to meet the requirements of changes in tasks and organization, and leadership of units protecting national border security and sovereignty in Nghe Tinh province (1976 - 1991).

Chapter 4:Nghe An Border Guard Party Committee leads the construction of a comprehensive, strong and disciplined unit, meeting the requirements and tasks of border guard work in the period of industrialization - modernization of the country and international economic integration (1991 - 2019) and additional contents of the history of the Provincial Border Guard in the period 2009 - 2019.

At the Workshop, delegates and witnesses actively, enthusiastically and responsibly participated in the draft, focusing on issues of format, layout, writing style, and timelines in the process of fighting, building and maturing of Nghe An Border Guard... Outstanding achievements in leading the implementation of political tasks, building units and building the Party.

These are valuable contributions, adding important sources of information and documents to help the Drafting Committee continue to consolidate and supplement the book "History of the Party Committee of the Border Guard of Nghe An Province" and supplement the history of the Provincial Border Guard for the period 2009 - 2019. In order to launch the book in time in 2019 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the National Border Guard Day and the 60th anniversary of the Border Guard's tradition day.
