More than 1,000 workers attend job fair at WHA Industrial Park
More than 5,000 job opportunities in Nam Cam Industrial Park and WHA Industrial Park have been introduced to workers.
On the morning of September 28, the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghi Loc district and WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An Joint Stock Company to organize a Consulting Day.job introductionyear 2024

Attending the event were Mr. Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Le Tien Tri - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board; leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and units along with nearly 1,000 ordinary workers, high school students in Nghi Loc district and students from a number of universities and colleges in the province.
There are currently nearly 15,500 enterprises operating in the province, creating stable jobs for nearly 350,000 workers, of which about 40,000 workers are working in 154 enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks. With an average income of over 8 million VND/person/month, in WHA Industrial Park and Nam Cam Industrial Park alone, there are 57 enterprises operating with nearly 10,000 workers.

The demand for labor recruitment in economic zones and industrial parks will continue to increase in the last 3 months of 2024, with businesses needing about 12,000 more workers, with WHA Industrial Park and Nam Cam Industrial Park alone needing about 5,000 workers. In 2025, the demand for recruitment will be 43,000 workers, of which WHA Industrial Park and Nam Cam Industrial Park will need about 10,000 workers. It is forecasted that the demand for labor will continue to increase in the following years, especially high-quality workers in the fields of electronic component manufacturing and green energy.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Mr. Le Tien Tri - Head of the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone said that in the first 9 months of the year, enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks recruited about 22,000 workers, however, the number of workers who quit their jobs accounted for 45% compared to the number of newly recruited workers, of which up to 50% of the workers quit their jobs to work abroad or look for other job opportunities.

In addition, the level of fierce competition, labor productivity, quantity and quality of human resources still do not meet the development needs of enterprises, income levels are still lower than those of other localities in the region, and do not meet the living needs of workers. Therefore, the ability to attract and create jobs locally is still low, the trend of shifting and labor migration is still high. On the other hand, the ineffective operation of the labor market is creating a lot of pressure on the issue of attracting labor of enterprises in the area.
The job fair held at WHA Industrial Park this year is an opportunity for workers in Nghi Loc district to directly approach recruiting businesses, choose job opportunities that suit their abilities, stabilize their lives and work in a multi-disciplinary competitive environment; orient students to jobs that suit their needs as well as their development orientation.human resourcesof local businesses.

The event was accompanied and participated by 15 units and enterprises in WHA Industrial Park, Nam Cam Industrial Park and other enterprises in Nghi Loc district, bringing more than 5,000 job opportunities.
With the same spirit, representatives of Nghi Loc district government and leaders of WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An Joint Stock Company also hope that the event will be a premise for organizing activities on a regular basis, aiming to build a dynamic and effective labor market.
