More than 1,050 gifts to students in difficult border areas

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 10, the Nghe An Press Alliance Club in collaboration with Golden City Joint Stock Company and the Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial Police presented more than 1,050 gifts to primary and secondary school students in the two border communes of Muong Ai and Muong Tip, Ky Son district.

The delegation gave gifts at Muong Tip commune.

In Muong Tip commune, the delegation presented 797 warm clothes to students of 3 primary schools: Muong Tip 1, Muong Tip 2 and Nam Tip Boarding Secondary School.

In Muong Ai commune, the delegation presented 288 warm clothes to students of Muong Ai Primary School. In addition, the delegation also presented hundreds of notebooks and pens to students in these disadvantaged communes.

On this occasion, the Provincial Police Youth Union also awarded 5 scholarships worth 5 million VND to 5 students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies.

The total value of the gifts this time is more than 200 million VND from the support of Golden City Joint Stock Company employees, members of the Nghe An Press Alliance Club, Nghe An Provincial Police Youth Union and a number of other individuals and units.

With the above gifts, the delegation hopes to contribute to promoting the dream of literacy for ethnic minority children in the border communes of Ky Son district, where there are many difficulties in all aspects.

It is known that this is the 5th time the delegation has organized gift giving in two communes of Muong Ai and Muong Tip, Ky Son district.
