More than 1,500 delegations visited President Tran Dai Quang on September 26.
As of 5:00 p.m. on September 26, about 1,500 domestic and international delegations with about 50,000 people had come to pay their respects to President Tran Dai Quang.

Accordingly, the Funeral Organizing Committee said that today, the funeral of Politburo member and President Tran Dai Quang was solemnly held at the National Funeral House, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi according to the National Funeral protocol.
At the same time, the State President's funeral was also held at the Reunification Hall in Ho Chi Minh City and in Quang Thien Commune, Kim Son District, Ninh Binh Province. Leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Committees, Ministries, branches, organizations, provinces and centrally-run cities, armed forces, diplomatic missions, international organizations, and domestic and foreign organizations and individuals also came to pay their respects and offer condolences to the family.
Among them, the Central Party Committee delegation led by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; the Government delegation led by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; the National Assembly delegation led by National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; the State Presidency delegation led by Acting President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh... paid their respects to President Tran Dai Quang and expressed condolences to his family.
Along with that, many leaders of the Party, State, Government, and National Assembly of countries sent condolences to the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, and people of Vietnam, as well as the family of President Tran Dai Quang. In particular, many countries sent high-ranking delegations, many Ambassadors, Representatives, and Heads of international organizations in Hanoi to pay their respects to President Tran Dai Quang and offer condolences to his family.
The National Funeral Organizing Committee said that as of 5 p.m. on September 26, about 1,500 domestic and international delegations with an estimated number of 50,000 people had come to pay their respects to President Tran Dai Quang.
Some leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, due to circumstances, could not attend and sent wreaths and condolences to the family.
The memorial service for comrade Tran Dai Quang will be held at 7:30 a.m. on September 27, 2018 at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi), Thong Nhat Hall (Ho Chi Minh City) and the President's hometown in Hamlet 13, Quang Thien Commune, Kim Son District, Ninh Binh Province.
The funeral will take place from 3:30 p.m. the same day at the President's hometown in Hamlet 13, Quang Thien Commune, Kim Son District, Ninh Binh Province./.
