More than 100 people in Nghe An had to celebrate New Year's Eve in a centralized quarantine area.

According to the report of Nghe An Department of Health, on February 11 (ie 30th of Lunar New Year 2021), the whole province received 2,749 new cases for quarantine and health monitoring, 66 cases ended the quarantine period.

Currently, there are 24,151 cases in Nghe An under quarantine and health monitoring. Of these, 24,028 people are quarantined and self-monitoring their health at home. Most of them are peoplereturn home for Tet from epidemic areas across the country.

To ensure safety in the work of preventing and fighting Covid-19, more than 100 people in Nghe An had to celebrate New Year's Eve in centralized quarantine areas. Of these, 104 people were in centralized quarantine areas at the district level; 9 people were in centralized quarantine areas at the provincial level and 10 people were being quarantined and treated at the hospital. Among the cases being quarantined in Nghe An, there were 14 cases of F1, all of which had negative test results for Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health recorded no new infections on the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year 2021. The total number of infections nationwide in the past 16 days is 553, in 13 provinces and cities.
