More than 100 Russian naval ships present in the Pacific
More than 100 ships show the presence of the Russian Navy in the Pacific, Admiral Vladimir Korolev - Commander of the Russian Navy, said in an interview with the Red Star newspaper.

"As a fleet of a great maritime power, the Russian Navy has regained its position in the Pacific. In the near- and far-seas areas, there are more than 100 ships of all four fleets," Korolev said.
The commander also noted that in 2017 the total number of days at sea spent by ships of the Russian Navy reached 17,100.
He also said that the nuclear submarine Knyaz Vladimir will be launched in November 2017.
Earlier, it was known that by the end of 2020, the Russian Navy will receive eight nuclear submarines of the Borey project. It is expected that the production of fifth-generation submarines will begin after 2025.
Before the end of this year, the Russian Black Sea Fleet will receive the third destroyer of project 11356 Admiral Makarov," Korolev announced.
