Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh works with leaders of the world's top 500 corporations
On the afternoon of March 6, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province worked with the Pacific Construction Group, China.

The delegation was led by Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa - Founder of Pacific Construction Group, To Thuong Group, Chairman of Trang Nghiem Research Institute.
Attending the meeting, leaders of Nghe An province were Mr. Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Department of Finance, Department of Construction, Department of Industry and Trade, Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone, Department of Foreign Affairs.
Appreciate the development potential of Nghe An
Pacific Construction Group was founded in 1995, headquartered in Urumqi City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China, is the world's leading private construction enterprise with more than 360,000 employees.
In 2023, the Group's revenue will reach 80 billion USD, ranking among the top 500 largest enterprises globally and 19/500 largest enterprises in China.
Pacific Group mainly operates in the fields of construction of traffic works, irrigation, urban construction and operation.

At the meeting, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed about the natural conditions, socio-economic situation, investment attraction of Nghe An, including partners from China.
With its strengths in infrastructure investment, Nghe An province's leaders proposed that Pacific Construction Group research investment in developing the province's transport infrastructure; pay attention to and support planning research for three dynamic urban areas: Vinh expansion, Do Luong, Dien Chau; research, survey, and invest in industrial park infrastructure projects.
In addition, with its influence and prestige, Nghe An hopes that the Group will connect and introduce capable Chinese corporations and enterprises to explore investment in the province's industrial parks, especially in a number of high-tech industries, which are the driving force for the province's economic growth, including: Electronics industry, information technology; mechanical engineering and assembly; digital industry; renewable energy; supporting industry.

The founder of China's leading construction group highly appreciates the development potential of Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular; believes that Vietnam will have double-digit growth in the coming time.
Through that, he expressed his desire to contribute to the development of Vietnam - the place he considers his second homeland; in which he really wants to learn to invest in the province with the motto "will be a Nghe An person, speak Nghe An language, work for Nghe An, be responsible for Nghe An, be an enterprise that wants to work, dares to work, knows how to work and succeed..."
Proposing Pacific Group to research and invest in many fields in Nghe An
Delighted to welcome the delegation, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province Le Hong Vinh highly appreciated the fact that Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa, a businessman who founded two large Chinese corporations and a research institute, one of the 10 richest billionaires in China, came directly to work and learn about investment opportunities in the province.

Discussing the potentials and advantages of Nghe An and development orientations, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh affirmed that in the development process, the province is always open to attracting investors, including the Pacific Group.

Appreciating the scale, capital potential, technology and especially the motto "what others can do, the Group can absolutely do, what others cannot do, the Group can also do...", the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Group study investment in the province, especially in infrastructure development and urban development.
Introducing Nghe An as a land with a tradition of studiousness and high-quality human resources, the head of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee also suggested that Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa research and establish a research center in Nghe An to contribute to the development of science, technology, and digital transformation of the province.

Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa highly appreciated the development potential of Nghe An and agreed with the province's proposals and affirmed the Group's commitment and desire to invest in resources, intelligence, and capital in Nghe An, contributing to the province's development.
Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh thanked Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa for his goodwill towards Nghe An and hoped that in the future, he would continue to welcome corporations, member companies and research institutes founded by him to come and learn about and invest in Nghe An.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to assign focal points to continue to explore and promote investment projects. Nghe An province assigned the Department of Construction and the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board as focal points. Pacific Group assigned Ms. Phung Dinh Dinh - Executive Director, Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macau Construction Company as focal points.
For many years, China has been Nghe An's largest trading partner. The total export turnover of Nghe An and China accounts for 1/6 of the province's total export turnover. In 2024, Nghe An's export turnover to China reached 547.3 million USD, with main export items: wood chips, cassava and cassava products, aquatic products, textiles, garments, white marble blocks, etc. Import turnover reached 695.8 million USD, of which the main import items were: Machinery and equipment, electronic components, chemicals, production materials, etc.
Currently, the province has 29 projects of Chinese investors from the mainland with a total registered capital of 1.314 billion USD; at the same time, there are 23 projects of Hong Kong (China) investors with a total registered capital of 1.935 billion USD; 8 projects of Taiwanese (China) investors with a total registered capital of 625.7 million USD.
