Committed to completion by 2025
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province Le Hong Vinh thanked ACV for its interest in synchronously investing in 3 projects at Vinh International Airport, which, when completed, will remove a bottleneck in transportation for Nghe An, helping the province have a more favorable opportunity to achieve the high growth target, of which the Government assigned 10.5% in 2025.

Currently, in the 3 projects, only part of the project site for expanding and renovating the aircraft parking lot with an area of over 3 hectares is still stuck with legal procedures. Overall, with the receptiveness and cooperation of Nghe An province and ACV, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that all three projects will soon be completed and put into operation. Nghe An province will direct the relevant agencies to coordinate to implement, in which all needs for raw materials will be fully met.
The Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee also requested ACV to have a specific roadmap for implementing phase 2 of Vinh International Airport according to the plan so that the province can calculate and balance resources and coordinate in site clearance work.
