More than 109 thousand hectares of forest and forestry land will be allocated in 2019
(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial People's Committee has just signed Decision No. 5281/QD-UBND dated November 29 on implementing the Project on forest allocation associated with forestry land and granting forest land use right certificates to households, individuals and communities in the province, phase 1 of 2018 - 2019.
Accordingly, 109,609 hectares of forest associated with forestry land will be allocated to households, individuals and communities in the province in the first phase of 2019.
Of which, forest allocation on forestry land has been allocated or has been granted land use right certificates for 36,560 ha; forest allocation is simultaneously linked to forestry land allocation and land use right certificate issuance for 73,049 ha. The total implementation cost is nearly 45 billion VND.

The province's goal from 2018 to 2021 is that Nghe An will basically complete the assignment of forests, including production forests with a total area of 265,771 hectares for households, individuals and communities to effectively manage and use for forestry purposes.
