More than 160 people from Da Nang to Nghe An tested negative for nCoV
(Baonghean.vn) - In the immediate future, Nghe An will prioritize testing people who have been in close contact with cases and patients who have been treated at hospitals in Da Nang, then transfer them to medical facilities in the province.
On the morning of July 30, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of the Center for Disease Control of Nghe An province said that in the past day, the unit had taken samples for testing of 162 people, the first results were all negative for nCoV.
These 162 people include 38 people who are F1 of "patient 435". The remaining people are patients with symptoms of the epidemic such as chest pain, difficulty breathing... who were treated at hospitals in Da Nang, then transferred to continue treatment at medical facilities in Nghe An.
"In the immediate future, we will prioritize testing F1 cases first, then patients returning from Da Nang who are being treated at medical facilities and have symptoms of the disease," Mr. Dinh added.

Up to this point, Nghe An has had more than 7,000 people returning from Da Nang and Quang Ngai in the past 14 days. These people are advised to self-isolate at home. If they have unusual symptoms, medical staff will immediately come to take samples for testing and take them to centralized quarantine according to regulations. Currently, Nghe An is isolating more than 460 people. Since the beginning of the epidemic, Nghe An has taken samples for testing of more than 17,300 cases, of which no positive cases have been recorded.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health this morning recorded 9 cases of nCoV infection, including 8 people in Da Nang and one in Hanoi, bringing the total number of infections to 43 in 6 days.
