More than 260,000 visitors came to Cua Lo during the 4-day holiday

On May 1, Mr. Vo Van Tho - Head of the Department of Culture of Cua Lo town said that during the past 4 days of the holiday, it is estimated that more than 260,000 tourists flocked to Cua Lo for relaxation; of which more than 75,000 stayed overnight.

Especially on April 29, the heavy rain lasted for many hours but tens of thousands of people still flocked here to swim in the sea. This was also the day that Cua Lo opened the 2018 Tourism Festival with music programs and fireworks. In the opening ceremony, it was estimated that more than 20,000 people attended.

Also during the holiday, Cua Lo organized many fun and entertainment programs to serve tourists such as the traditional boat racing between wards and communes in the area right on the beach in front of Binh Minh Square.

According to the reporter's investigation, many hotels and motels with beautiful locations along Binh Minh Street, close to Cua Lo Beach, were almost fully booked during the two peak days (April 29 and 30). However, because this year the number of guests did not increase as dramatically as last year, with more than 300 motels, hotels and more than 11,000 rooms, Cua Lo still met the needs of customers, and there was no room shortage.

Room rates in Cua Lo range from 400,000 VND - 700,000 VND/day and night. Some 3-star and 4-star hotels still have rooms available for prices ranging from 1.5 to nearly 2.5 million VND. A representative of a 4-star hotel with 250 rooms said that on April 30, the price for single and double rooms was 2.2 million VND/day and night but there were still rooms available for guests to book.
